This is a surprisingly intense yet fun attraction. Young children may
well find it too intense. Performances are frequently filled with screaming
and crying from scared pre and grade school children. Those that can handle
the experience love it however.
The
whole experience is not up to the standard of Honey I Shrunk the Audience
over at Epcot but it is the most humorous attraction at Animal Kingdom.

It's a Bug's Life is a cool escape from the heat of the day since you're inside the cool Tree of Life. While you're waiting you'll have fun reading the "buggy" versions of blockbuster movie posters. The program isn't scary, especially if you prime your kids and let them know what will happen. If they know they will get sprayed with bug juice and that a few furry friends might want to visit them, then they look forward to the effects and not be freaked out when they are surprised out of the blue. Little tots might be a bit frightened if they tend to be sensitive. Moms and Dads can make the best call as to whether or not their children can handle it. Overall, this attraction reminds you why you liked "A Bug's Life" in the first place! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was pretty neat. They use 3D effects and also interactive effects (I got poked in the back, which actually kind of hurt), but it all goes together really well. I would say it is too scary for little kids. I don't have any, but most of them seemed to be screaming in the beginning, so if I had very little kids I don't know that I'd take them to see it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
