when not to go
Christmas to New Years
The very busiest time of the year in Orlando is the week between
Christmas and New Years day. The combination of holiday period,
warm weather, and special parades and events draw huge crowds.
Easter
Holidays
Second to Christmas are the two weeks either side of the Easter
Weekend. As this holiday moves around it is worth checking
when it falls.
Thanksgiving
The start of America's Christmas Shopping season is also the
third busiest time to be in Orlando, making this long weekend
at the end of November a very crowded time.
The Summer (June, July, August)
Although the first week of June and last week of August are
a little better, the whole of these three months is a very
busy time in Orlando. Additionally, the summer brings the
hottest temperatures of the year, making the long time waiting
in lines at theme parks more frustrating.
All other American national Holidays
For all holiday weekends that do not fall in the above
categories you should also be wary of the huge crowds. Presidents
Day is probably the most notable due to the pull of Orlando
in the Winter.
