overview
The
standard line of all attractions has a clock stating how long
you will have to wait to start the attraction. If you hold
a FASTPASS you can join the FASTPASS entrance line which usually
has either no waiting time, or a very short waiting time.
The waiting time in the FASTPASS line occurs when other FASTPASS
holders turn up at the same time as you.
To
get a FASTPASS for an attraction that has the FASTPASS system
you go to the FASTPASS distribution machines, insert your
ticket, and a FASTPASS pops out. You will see both a start
time and an end time for using your pass. Just come back to
the attraction in-between these two times and go through the
FASTPASS entrance to get straight on the attraction.
You
are free to go off and see another attraction while you wait.
You usually have an hour window to use your FASTPASS which
gives you quite a bit of flexibility. The time you will have
to wait for your FASTPASS to start varies with the headliner
attractions having the longest waits. For major attractions
it is best to get a FASTPASS near the start of the day before
lining up for another major attraction.
You can usually only hold one FASTPASS at a time, though sometimes
when you get your FASTPASS it will have different instructions
allowing you to also FASTPASS another attraction. You just
need to be lucky when you get your FASTPASS!
Also
note that as soon as the start time on your FASTPASS has begun
you can get another FASTPASS. It is often best to get a new
FASTPASS first before going on the attraction you have a FASTPASS
for.
