ITINERARY
Having a plan of action before tackling a theme park makes a lot of sense. Following a plan too closely will however take all the fun out of your day. You are therefore advised to work out which attractions you really want to see and if the list is long try not to get too sidetracked. The itinerary given below should therefore provoke thought and act as a loose guide only.

planning your day
The following are the parks headliner attractions. They are therefore the ones with the longest lines so you should consider always holding a FASTPASS for one of them. Being headliner attractions means they are best seen at the start of the day before the crowds arrive.

1. Mission: SPACE (Future World)
2. Test Track (Future World)
3. Honey, I Shrunk the Audience (Future World)

Firstly, as with all parks in Orlando, you should arrive before the park opens as this is always the least crowded time. It is worth starting at park opening by getting a Mission: SPACE FASTPASS. This is the parks premier attraction which coupled to being launched April 2003 has the longest lines. After getting your FASTPASS head straight to Test Track and line up.

After Test Track head over and watch Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. Go to Mission: SPACE in your FASTPASS timeslot, fitting in other Future World attractions in the mean time. Future World is generally busy in the morning while World Showcase gets busiest later, so you can choose to have a less crowded tour of World Showcase if you
go there next.

World Showcase is set out in a loop which makes for a logical touring pattern. You either go around the loop starting at Mexico on the left or start on the right with Canada. The most common way is starting with Mexico so crowd avoidance says start with Canada.

The attractions in the World Showcase countries are minor but generally worth seeing. You will need to allocate half a day if you want to see every country and the attractions. The alternative is to be selective on what attractions to see and not to explore all of the shops and food in the countries. World Showcase is very popular in the evenings which is when the area is at its most crowded. You are generally therefore best off going back and seeing Future World attractions later in the day.

As Future World is near the entrance the crowds generally work their way slowly through it arriving at World Showcase for the second half of their visit. By riding the top few attractions in Future World first thing, seeing World Showcase second, then returning to Future World, you will witness the shortest lines and the least crowding.
