The
parade is a lot of fun with the vehicles customized for the
characters that ride in them. For example the Muppet vehicle
features Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and Sweetums floating
under a big balloon. The Mulan vehicle sits Mulan under a
huge Chinese umbrella, and the Toy Story cast sit on a vehicle
shaped like Andy's bed.
The list of characters in the parade is long, and draws from
both nostalgic and new characters. The
parade is also made interactive by characters that walk the
route involving the crowd. Some of these come from the vehicle
going by at the time such as the Harem girls from the Aladdin
car.
There
is not really a one best place to see this parade. It is often
suggested that somewhere near the start is best though if
you want some advise. Wherever you stand may just be best
based on where you are and where there is room around parade
time which is usually late afternoon.
Seven
lucky guests are selected to join the parade. They act either
as Grand Marshals or carry banners towards the back of the
parade.
