Looking at the tower from the outside you may be scared off if thrill rides are not your thing. Don't be! There is so much more to the tower than the rising and falling lift shaft that you should see. The actual drops are also not very extreme. You sit down and are strapped in, which will get your adrenaline going, but the actual drops are not really that bad.

It is hard to not walk away from this ride totally impressed. The experience is hard to describe in words and it is probably best left for you to ride it and enjoy the experience of the Tower of Terror!

Long lines make this an obvious Fast Pass attraction. If you don't Fast Pass arrive early and ride first thing.

I thought it is really well done. It is the best way to represent a freefall. The windows open at the top and seeing the whole park in front of you just gives it a final spark. If you go to MGM it is a ride that you cant miss . Its it brilliant for ride-goers!

This ride is SCARY, If you are like me and do not like big drops go no where near this , It has long ques to be prepared to queue ( excluding FASTPASS) I dont think i would attempt it again !!!!

This is a must see for all but the most meek Disney World Guest. Come early or use FASTPAS. Waits are much less then. Use that time to soak up the experience. The total experience is so much more than just an elevator drop! The story begins in the lobby which has been untouched since the "incident with the elevators" and is just like a hotel of that time would have been. Standing in line gives you a chance to appreciate the design details...The next stop is the library. For those who have seen the Twilight Zone TV series, the library is FULL of items from thoes stories. This is also where the full story of how the Hollywood Hotel became the "Tower of Terror" is explained. Now on to the boiler room (also replicating a 1930's basement) to get on the elevator. At the first elevator stop the hotel's "characters" appear to beckon you on. You then travel through a room with even more TV references and even a picture of the travelers in your elevator. Total darkness closes you in. Finally, a blast of air hits your face and you are off!!! Up, down, up, up a little more, down, down, down. You really can't anticipate what will happen next. And then a final grand drop into the sub basement. The lights ome on to reveal a basement room and then you hear the welcome words from the operator ... "Hope you enjoyed your stay."
