Starting with a six minute pre-show you are treated to a cuddly alien
being fried and sprayed into outer space. This sets the tone for what
is to come. Many children may well find this theatrical attraction a little
to intense on gross images. For adults looking for an escape from Disney
cuteness this may well prove an engaging retreat.
Similar
to Universal's Terminator 2 3D attraction, Alien Encounter is a more intimate
theater with a smaller audience. If you are thinking of taking young children
is may be worth seeing the show first to help you decide if they will
be fine with it.
The
Extraterrorestrial Alien Encounter is a scary attraction that may
be a bit too much for young children. Many adults will find it great fun
though.

This ride is not at the magic kingdom anymore. They replaced this ride with a ride called Stitch's Great Escape, which is more of a family show. It still is in the little theater, but instead of the scary monster alien, it is Stitch. I think this was a good idea because the Alien Encounter was very scary. I was 8 years old when i first went on it and it terrified me. Now it doesn't because it is Stitch. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
