Although Space Mountain is not a traditional roller coaster, like Rock
'n Rollercoaster in Disney's MGM Studios, it does find its roots in the
Wild Mouse style of coasters, popular at fairgrounds and carnivals. Disney
adds atmosphere to this kind of coaster by enclosing it entirely, and
allowing riders experience the zippy turns and small drops in near complete
darkness surrounded by space-themed scenery.
Since
Space Mountain is one of the most popular attractions in the Magic Kingdom
so ride early in the morning or in the last hour before the park closes
or use Fastpass. If you choose to wait in line, don't be fooled by the
people spilling out of Space Mountain, since this is most often a technique
used at Disney to discourage too many people from lining up. Another word
of advice: secure anything that can fly off during this wild and whipping
ride.
If
you are looking for an intense ride then Space Mountain may provide the
thrill you are looking for. If you want a little less intensity and a
great theme then Big Thunder Mountain is another ride to suggest.

This ride is excellent , 10 times more scarier at the front, but i think this ride is aging fast and keeps breaking down --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
